PSEKA applauds and salutes the 13 senators who had the courage to vote “yes” on Resolution SJ60 introduced by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky to stop the sale of the F16s to Turkey!
Although we understand the “quid-pro-quo” agreement between the Biden Administration and Dictator Erdogan of Turkey, we still salute those who stood on Democratic American values and did not ignore the continuous flagrant violations of Turkey for the past 50 years. - Invasion and occupation of 37% of the Republic of Cyprus, a member of the European Union.
- Not allowing our troops to cross during Desert Storm.
- Bombing of the Kurds and support of Isis.
- Purchase of S400 missiles from Russia in direct violation of NATO agreement.
- Threats against Israel and support of Hamas atrocities.
- Threats against Greece and Armenia.
- No sanctions on Russia.
- Human rights violations.
The list of anti-American actions is too long and hard to comprehend. The quid-pro-quo agreement did not solve any problems but it rather compromised American Democratic values for which we stand. |
